Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do,
do it with thy might;
for there is no work,
nor device, nor knowledge,
nor wisdom, in the grave,
whither thou goest.
Ecc 9:10.
.
You are better off to have a friend than to be all alone, because then you will get more enjoyment out of what you earn.
If you fall, your friend can help you up. But if you fall without having a friend nearby, you are really in trouble.
If you sleep alone, you won’t have anyone to keep you warm on a cold night.
Someone might be able to beat up one of you, but not both of you. As the saying goes, “A rope made from three strands of cord is hard to break.”
Ecc 4:9-12.
My heart is confident, O God. My heart is confident. I want to sing and make music.
Wake up, my soul! Wake up, harp and lyre! I want to wake up at dawn.
I want to give thanks to you among the people, O Lord. I want to make music to praise you among the nations
because your mercy is as high as the heavens. Your truth reaches the skies.
11 May you be honored above the heavens, O God. Let your glory extend over the whole earth.
psalms 57: 7-11
I can guarantee this truth: Every believer has eternal life.
“I am the bread of life.
Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert and died.
This is the bread that comes from heaven so that whoever eats it won’t die.
I am the living bread that came from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. The bread I will give to bring life to the world is my flesh.”
John 6: 47-51
